dv6 laptop wont start up hdd errors

My hp dv6 laptop won't start up.. it tries to run Windows recovery but it doesn't finalise the process ( I even left it running for 2 days ) tried running system diagnostics and get an error on all the test

I got the same error on the tune up and start up test...
I'm assuming this means the hdd is dead??
