With the blinking light sequence you are getting, this does mean something is going on with the memory of your notebook. I have included the document 'Computer Does Not Start and the LEDs Blink or the Computer Beeps'. Please click on the option for LEDs near Caps Lock and Number Lock keys blink, and then follow the steps for the number of blinks that you have.

Please let me know the outcome of the above troubleshooting steps.
