I just bought a brand new HP laptop
HP 15-d035dx
Mircosoft 8
From the moment I opened it up a few days ago, it has been slow as molassas and is driving me crazy. My 6 year old Acer was better than this. Pictures won't load at all, programs are slow to load, the internet crawls as well as I'm constantly getting booted off of our wireless internet. None of this happened with my Acer, so it has to be something with this new laptop. HP has loaded loads of crap and stuff that I don't need on here, Can I take it off without breaking something? My husband (who is a programmer) suggests just uninstalling everything that has HP in front of it (with the exception of the documentation stuffl). I'm a little leary of doing that. Also other things that have been loaded onto the computer by HP, like Vuu, and some other stuff are annoying crap that keeps wanting to install, but I don't want it. How do I get rid of all this stuff and get my new computer running smoothly.
