My son has a Pavilion dv6t-6c00 CTO. his system locked up and upon attempting to reboot he could not. he would get a gray screen and stall. when he finally got in to attempt a safe mode start it pushed him back to run a diagnostic. when he ran the diagnostic he was givein a failure for Short-DST. does that mean the hard drive must be replaced and there is no way to manually have the system fix it?
