Re: HP laptop does not wake up from the sleep mode! Urgent help needed!

Thanks for "goyalabhinav"'s post "Message 18 of 26" my problem solved.

I have an HP Pavilion dv6-6c06es with dual boot windows 7 and ubuntu. I had no problem with ubuntu while i had the same problem in windows 7 (can't wake up from sleep mode) so i got certain that the problem is software issue and not hardware (repairing won't do you any good), I followed "goyalabhinav" post "Message 18 of 26", so:

   * I unistalled both drivers for "amd radeon HD 7470M" and "intel HD 3000"
   * Restarted my laptop.

   * I installed the driver provided from windows update for "intel HD 3000", while i installed the latest one for "AMD...".

   * Restarted my laptop.

Now i can my laptop can wake up from sleep mode and hibernate mode with no problem

My intel HD 3000 driver is 9.17.10.3347, still i have no problem ( for those who read "Message 18 of 26")
