Hi, all:
I have the same problem. I called HP support and they show me how to go into the BIOS following these steps:
1. turn off laptop ( by pusing the power button.
2. hold downkeep tapping fn-F10 simultanuosly while turn on the power -> this will bring you into Bios setting menu.
3. call up setting menu (I forget which fn key - fn8?) and reload the default setting using arrow on the keyboard and confirm yes.
4. laptop wil re-boot with defult setting.
5. once it reboot my touch-pad and touch screen working again!
