I turn lab-top on and it goes to blue screen asking for power on password but u can't type anything it won't show up. Pressing enter just repeats the power on password with a key symbol an some other little symbol. It's a hp pavilion compaq 6715b lab-top. I can also push f9 when I very first turn it on and it loads the boot device menu, that has three options : optical **bleep** drive

Network controller, it's says highlight your choice and press enter to choose but I've tried all three and pressing enter just brings up the power on password blue screen.
