Hello,
I have a Pavilion DM4. It is turning off randomly when the CPU temperature is too high, never reached 90º, also the computer doesn't boot up when the temperature is too low.
To turn on the computer I have to press the power button, the system turns on and off in less than 3 seconds, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, until the CPU is warm (I can feel it with my hand), at some point the machine will start and everything will work correctly.
I have replaced the thermal grease and clean the fan. It is not a overheating problem as it also happens when the CPU is cold.
Is there any software solution to fix this issue? BIOS update, or something similar? Or is it possible to replace/remove any component in the motherboard to fix it?
