There are no error messages, crash screens, BSoD's, nothing. It's like there is no battery, and I just unplug the power cord.
Also, this same shutting down happens if I enter the BIOS, or hit F8 and bring up the list with Safe Mode, Last Known Good, etc. So far, if I alter the boot sequence in any way, the computer just turns off. If I boot up the computer from the hard drive and let it boot like normal, it boots just fine, and runs with no issues.
Things I have tried so far:
- Booting with no battery
- Swapping in a new battery
- Booting only on battery power (With both batteries)
- Booting with no hard drive
- Swapping in a new hard drive
- Swapping CD Drives
- Booting with an external CD Drive
- Swapping RAM chip
- Flashing the BIOS (Which was successful)
- Cleared the Event Log, then force the problem (No error in event log)
I am at the end of my rope here. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
