It appears that you're having an issue with how the mouse is responding on your Notebook. Also a second issue developed that will not allow you to access your user profile. I will try to help you with this.
For the second issue with the error "The User Profile Service failed the sign in. User profile cannot be loaded". I would like you to read over this post on the EightForums.com: User Profile Service failed the sign-in - Fix in Windows 8. They have a very detailed thread of steps you can try to resolve that issue.
In regards to the mouse, are you referring to an external mouse or the touch pad? Which ever it is have you tried using the opposite. ex. If issue is with mouse unplug try the touchpad. If issue is with touchpad, try a mouse. This isn't a fix this is just to see if something works to make it easier to navigate with. It may also indicate if there's an issue with hardware.
