O/S: Win 8.1
WiFi: Realtek RTL 8188EE 802.11bgn
The operator will be using the computer as normal, setting up spread sheets, sending email, whatever one does through the course of a work day, and it will just freeze. Stop. Dead. Can't bring up the task manager, can't do anything except physically turn off the computer and start again. It works fine for a day or so, and then freezes. The other laptop we had was the same model, it ran WIN 8.1, I don't know about the WiFi adapter, but it did the same thing, random freezings on random programs, completing random tasks.
The only thing that wasn't stock on them was the open source software I installed because I don't want a microsoft suite.
