Hi:
I recently purchased and setup (2) HP ProBook 450 G1 laptops. Both laptops occassionally hang on a blank screen after a Standard user attempts to logon. If an administrator logs on, the laptop responds with a message like, "There is a file or folder on your computer called C:\Program that could cause problems; do you want to rename it?"
After letting the system rename the C:\Program folder, Standard users can again logon. I believe some program is creating that folder but I have not installed any "out of the ordinary" applications any different from many other desktops and laptops that I manage.
This issue may have something to do with the HP Client Security Manager. But when I try to uninstall that program, the system tells me that numerous other HP apps. are dependent on it and must be uninstalled first. Is it safe to uninstall all of those HP programs?
Thanks very much for any insights!
