I have a 3 month old HP ENVY 15t quad laptop
Its working perfectly fine except when I play game in either HP recommended power mode or High Performance power mode.
The game and laptop works greatly and it doesn't stress the fan out. However, if I move the laptop by either tilting the screen a little bit or move the location of the laptop, the computer immediately drops the CPU speed to ~0.77GHz and will stay there for ~30 secs. This causes massive problems to the sound performance as well the graphic performance. The game I'm playing can easily be played in power saver mode and in that mode, the speed NEVER decreases no matter how much I move the laptop.
I'm not sure but there may be either software problem or fan issues? I have been playing this game for 3 years and in the past, I was using SONY VAIO laptop that had much weaker graphic card and still never had any performance issue.
