HPs doings and I am very grateful for your assistance but HPs name does not go in my household any longer and I will let my friends know what happened with this laptop. I guess I should have went with a Japanes import. I bought this because it is an American company--my mystake.
Sorry to hear the bad experiences your having with the newer HP I would've expected some kinda resolution from HP to you but I guess your next step is to get into HP support and talk to a manager or supervisor and get some kinda resolution if you can purse that. Otherwise if another W8 laptop does the same wifi drops then you might have to go and find a W7 laptop that is or isn't hp and hopefully your experiences will be better this time around.
