I was having trouble with iTunes not installing updates. So I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and it worked fine...however as it was backing up my iPhone, the screen suddenly blinked and showed rows of colored bars and the computer became unresponsive. I turned it off and back on again, and the screen remains black. The LED on the caps lock button blinks once approximately every 3 seconds. I've cleaned out the inside, tried letting it warm up, tried putting it in the freezer(just an odd suggestion I read online), and nothing worked.
Before this happened, a few months ago I upgraded to an AMD Phenom II processor, so I figured it had gone bad. I put the original processor back in, but nothing changes. The hard drive still works, as I threw it into an old laptop and I'm using it to type this right now. Could the problem lie with the motherboard itself? I'm kind of at a loss here. Thanks in advance for any info and/or advice.
I forgot to mention I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, if that is relevant. Never had any problems with this computer before.
