So, extremely disappointed to have thought I was getting support from HP over the last few months, when in fact these answers from HP Estonia speak for themselves:
Everything i say cannot be taken as a straight formal HP statement.
Most of the times these are just my own (or my collegues) collective thoughts and ideas.
The only thing i can say is that Probook 4545s is designed and guaranteed to work under Windows 8.
Beyond than that i am unable to comment why a certain module or driver might cause errors or malfunctions.
As a logical (personal) thought.. Win 8.1 is of course the future and i truly believe HP will try to cover as much problems/issues as possible with the migration proccess.
By the looks of it and fortunately.. a lot of customers are experiencing the same freezing issue which means that most likely it will be solved. Although, I do not know when.
I can do little to speed up the solution-proccess... this has to be a global issue.
